Media Literacy: Should Observant Jewish and Christian Influencers Call Each Other "Retarded"?

Following the point when Kisin said "retarded," after the audience laughter had subsided, I think Kisin's interlocutor should have offered some pushback, e.g. "Really - I could see stupid, or even moronic, but would you really go to bat over your right to call someone 'retarded' in whatever it is we have left of a polite society in Western civilization?" Ben Shapiro used the same term in his 2025 TPUSA Amfest speech. I can see it in a foul-mouthed late night comedy routine, but like most curse words not in polite conversation. Where should observant Jewish and Christian influencers like Ben and Tucker draw the line?
