My advice for Trump to Pezeshkian: stop the crackdown, send Ayatollah Khamenei to Moscow for health reasons and restart the internet and telephones. Talks are better than bunker busters or special operations. Let's get a transition program going toward a free and fair referendum on a new Iranian Constitution. It's up to the people when their passions are cooled if they want a secular state or a civil Islamic Republic with a lion on the flag. Either way let's aim to lift the UN & US sanctions by putting the IAEA back in ASAP and agreeing to a freeze on Iranian ballistic missile production.
