Isn't "illegal and dangerous" exactly the same point that Israel has long tried to make about premature, unilateral, unconditional recognition of the state of Palestine? Does the international community recognize the government of Somaliland as a genocidal terrorist organization? Why should fair-minded Americans care more about what Erdogan thinks than what Taiwan thinks?
