Adding Interfaith World Federalism to My Life Mission: Is It World Religion?

11:43 AM Friday.

I've been thinking rather critically about my opening definition of "religion" ever since I rushed it into the blogosphere just before my telehealth psychotherapy appointment at 6:15 AM this morning. Instead of beating myself up over the obvious deficiencies of a quick first draft in a long-term work in progress, I have instead decided this morning to update my blog title to "Discerning an Interfaith Eremitic World Federalist Blogging Vocation with a Psychiatric Disability."

I've already created a new project under my Spiritual Direction area of responsibility titled "Introduction to World Religion." Is it time to add a corresponding new project under Political Theology titled "World Federalism," or is "UN Charter Navigation" enough? I am not sure yet. But I am now ready to offer an opening definition of "world religion":

World religion is the integration of prayer (in all its forms), reading (with all other forms of listening), writing (with all other forms of self-expression), and consultation with spiritual mentors (in all their forms) in order to bind every person on Earth together into a healthy and sustainable body politic under a just and peaceful rule of law.

Is the navigation of UN Charter reform on the way to interfaith world federalism itself a world religion?

Time will tell.

End 12:38 PM.
