2025 Day 310: Desktop Zero Deep Work
6:18 AM Thursday.
Yesterday was intellectually and spiritually intense here in the hermitage. I did a lot of reading and thinking, and I listened to some important podcasts, but I wasn't able to pull myself together enough to publish a daily plan or anything else. Now I have a good measure of backlog to deal with, including several open browser tabs. Fortunately, I got to bed at 8:15 PM last night, and I slept until 5 AM this morning, so I am feeling ready to put myself back on track. Here is my schedule for the next 24 hours:
- 5-6 AM Prayer and Daily Planning
- 6-7 AM Day 310 Blog Post
- 7-10 AM Religious Reading Blog Post
- 10-8 PM Blog My Way to Desktop Zero
- 8-4 AM Sleep
- 4-5 AM Prayer
- 5-6 AM Day 311 Blog Post
- 6-7 AM Psychotherapy
I am sidelining laundry and strength training yet again (I still haven't gotten to either since Tuesday) because it feels more important to resolve this intellectual and spiritual backlog, and it's clear to me from yesterday's experience that I need to give it a long stretch of undivided attention. The laundry and exercise can wait until tomorrow.
