New Phone Rule and Notsu Note Card Holder Preview
It's 11:44 AM on Saturday morning and I am just wrapping up my weekly office organization session. I've moved the charging station for my smartphone and earbuds out of my sleeping area and will now try to keep my meditation and bed spaces phone-free at all times. At this point, I am only willing to bring my hipster PDA and hardcopy books into these two spaces. But maybe this resolution won't last long. Let's see what happens.
A hipster PDA of graph-ruled index cards for non-recurring tasks seems to be working well for me, but I think a Notsu note card holder will work even better. I'll start trying the product out tomorrow and plan to review my initial experiences with it at the end of this upcoming week 39.
I am closing in on a minimalist "paper-light" office system. There is still much for me to do through the end of 2025 during these Saturday morning office organization sessions, and even then, I probably won't have my office entirely clutter-free as I head into 2026, but I should be mostly out of the weeds with the hardscape aspect of this project stream by January. Maybe 2026 will be the year I get my digital archives in ship shape.
