First Step Toward a Political Theology Project List

It's 7:03 AM Eastern on Monday as I begin to write this entry. I experienced some genuine eremitic insight mixed with some populist grandiosity during my prayer session earlier this morning. Instead of a World Citizen, I imagined myself as a World Leader. "We need to take the power back to the people. We are all world leaders. I am a world leader, too." Then I imagined myself nailing down an open-source intelligence briefing from 7-8 AM on weekdays. I also thought that if I could train myself to eremitic geopolitical silence for six days of the week, I could say everything I felt I needed to say about politics on Mondays. Maybe on Monday mornings I could address current events, particularly in relation to Christian Zionism, and on Monday afternoons I could address UN Charter Navigation. This generated the following list of projects:

  • Weekday Briefing (7-8 AM Monday to Friday)
  • Christian Zionism (9-12 PM Monday)
  • UN Charter Navigation (12:30-5 PM Monday)
  • Responsible Voting (Election Days)

Perhaps a better title for this role would be Political Theology.

This project outline is very aspirational in some respects, but in other respects it is my most realistic projection yet. I am going to try it out for August.
