A Cultural Astronomy Sub-Project Inventory
It's 7:35 PM Eastern on Saturday. At 27 degrees of tropical Scorpio, the Moon is just about to culminate on the Midheaven at the same time Pluto crosses the Ascendant here in upstate New York. Aquarius is rising. I've started a new webpage titled Music of the Spheres and will spend the next hour working on an inventory of my current Cultural Astronomy sub-projects. Okay, it looks like there are really only two right now:
- Learn How to Use a Compass, Binoculars, Telescope and Stellarium for Basic Christian Astronomy
- Discern Whether There is a Valid Discipline of Christian Astrology and What Is Involved in Its Practice
In other words, I am presently focused on the first principles of Christian Astronomy and Christian Astrology within the field of Cultural Astronomy. It might be counterproductive for me to try and get this specific with a plan that I am unlikely to successfully implement, but as an experiment for the month of August I will see what happens if I dedicate Saturday evenings to Christian Astronomy and Tuesday evenings to Christian Astrology.
