Thus Saith the Lord of Hosts

As we open Week 29 of 2025 on this Sunday morning with a short clip from Handel's Messiah, I feel I owe my readership an apology. My blog management (especially if we take our window of analysis all the way back to 2006) has been terribly inconsistent and disorganized. Although much of this has surely been a consequence of my schizoaffective disorder, I don't want to assume that I am biologically and pharmacologically incapable of further improvement. Indeed, I am hopeful that many of my deficiencies relate to a lack of learnable insight and skill.

Then again, in light of my intertwined UN Charter observance and eremitic Christian Zionist discernment, I have to ask whether the Holy Spirit is nudging me toward silence, while the Adversary is nudging me toward speech - or vice versa - with respect to any given sentence (cf. 2 Corinthians 10:5b. "We take every thought captive and make it obey the Messiah.") From this perspective, the Blogger dashboard where I compose these notes is a front in Armageddon, and the Messiah is my Commander-in-Chief.

Send insight and skill through the Messiah and the Holy Spirit to me and my readership this week, Heavenly Father. Strengthen us in any vocational areas where we need greater consistency and organization. Amen.
